This nostalgic collection is developed in a beautiful palette of seaside inspired colors, ranging from pearly whites, sunny tangerines, and oleander pinks, to shades of vibrant blues and glistening silvers.  Oleander, a beautiful yet poisonous flower tree that is abundant in Croatia, takes the front seat as the key print of the collection, while a wide selection of light knits that are textured, shimmery, and delicate work perfectly alongside breathable linens and cottons with netting details and eyelet touches.  An array of iconic silhouettes, with scalloping, contrast piping, and heavy draping, dominate the design esthetic of the collection.  With a full assortment of pieces that span from luxury swimwear, sophisticated linen separates and playful play-sets to innovative knitwear, draped silk jersey dresses and evening gowns, Memento/R’23 offers an option to make any moment memorable.

About Azulu:
Maya Memovic, AZULU’s Creative Director, was born in Croatia and raised in New York.  After studying film directing and cinematography, Maya ventured into fashion design starting an eponymous label while also working as a designer at Stella McCartney, Catherine Malandrino and Ralph Lauren. It was in Ralph Lauren where she met her future husband and partner, Alex Srour.

Alex Srour, Azulu’s CEO, is the second generation in the business founded by his parents, Salomon and Mary Isabel Srour, initially as Salomon, a contemporary label with strong emphasis on classic linen resort wear.  Alex, after years of studying abroad and working for companies such as Ralph Lauren and Marc Ecko, moved back to Colombia, together with Maya, to help restructure and refresh Salomon.

The house eventually became AZULU, a modern brand known for its feminine resort silhouettes with a Latin flair.
