Miami Swim Week 2019 Roundup: Natasha Tonic
Swimwear designer Natasha Tonic debuted her Yin & Yang collection during Miami Swim Week 2019 on Thursday, July 11th, 7PM at the PARAISO Tent, located in Collins Park. The show featured 25 looks from the Resort 2020 collection, including one-pieces and bikinis that can double up as lingerie, bodysuits or athleisure, as well as dresses, and jumpsuits. This collection, uses hemp as the main fabric for swim wear and raw silk, cupro and linen for dresses and cover-ups, is inspired by nature' s balance and good vs. bad.
“These animals and the hemp were first considered sacred in many religions, and later that changed as people began fearing them and then destroying them”, says Natasha. “This collection hopes to bring our attention to the fact that we must protect endangered animals and plant more industrial hemp to help us clean soil from pesticides and save water.”
Retail price for bikinis starts at $50 for bottoms and $98 for tops. One-piece swim suits retail for $138 – $300, and dresses retail for $150 – $250. All styles will be available on www.natashatonic.com as well as in a few carefully selected international stores that represent Natasha’s vision and belief that sustainability is more than just a trend.
