CBN Arrives to the USA
This morning, JFK Airport's international arrival terminal was flooded with supporters and a large fan-following, as people patiently awaited the arrival of Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh since 2014. He is currently the National President of Telugu Desam Party.
Naidu has also been the recipient of numerous awards, including IT Indian of the Millennium from India Today, Business Person of the Year by The Economic Times, South Asian of the Year from Time Asia and membership in the World Economic Forum’s Dream Cabinet. Naidu chaired the National IT Panel under the NDA government and was described as one of the “hidden seven”, working wonders around the world.
Naidu is also in the US for a large UN event – the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly. The first day of the General Debate will be Tuesday, 25 September 2018, and is scheduled to last for nine working days. María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, President-elect of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), announced this past summer that the theme of the general debate will be, ‘Making the United Nations Relevant to All People: Global Leadership and Shared Responsibilities for Peaceful, Equitable and Sustainable Societies.’
Tonight there will be a special event hosted at NJIT’s Wellness & Events Center. Tickets are still available for the event, and attendees are encouraged to come early due to high security and large crowds! Bravura Magazine and P.G. Photography will be live-streaming the event!
