Please share with our readers your platform along with a brief description of what it is.
My platform is SAFE Connections. Basically, this is about being safe while online, no matter what your age is.

How long have you competed in pageants? How do you think you’ve personally grown with all your prior pageant experience?
I’ve been competing in pageants since the age of 8. I’ve grown by learning to be humble, while also boosting my self esteem.

In regards to your platform, why did you choose to go with this particular one?
I chose this platform because, as a business student I’ve realized how prominent social media has become within this generation. This made me realize that being safe while online is something that everyone should be doing.

How has working alongside your platform made you into a stronger person?
This has made me a stronger person in many ways. One being, I’ve learned that my platform reaches out to many people, and it is something that everyone can benefit from.

What have you learned from your current Miss Arkansas Savannah Skidmore as well as our Miss America Savvy Shields, which you hope to carry with you if you were to win the title of  Miss Arkansas?
I’ve learned many things, but I think the one thing that they have taught everyone is how to have grace. Being such a huge role model requires a lot of things, but they have shown a lot of grace through it all.

As a title-holder, what is one of the single-most important messages, which you think you convey to your followers?
My most important message I want to convey to my followers is to always be humble, be kind, and show grace.

If you were to win the title of Miss Arkansas, what is the one thing which you would strive the hardest to accomplish?
I would strive the hardest to accomplish getting my platform known. Online safety is no joke and it is something that we should all take very seriously.

Imagine you’re competing for Miss America, and your roommate has never visited Arkansas; how would you describe your state to your roommate?
I would describe my state as a beautiful green natural area. Everywhere you go in Arkansas, you will always see a beautiful green piece of land somewhere around you.

If you could place three items in a time capsule, which represent the women of today, what would they be and why?
My three items would be a cell phone, lipstick, and a “I voted” sticker.

Because of media, many people tend to look at pageant with a very scrutinizing option; For you. personally, what have been some of the biggest benefits of being a part of the Miss America Organization. And how would you share the positive nature of pageants with others who may not be familiar?
The biggest benefits of being a part of the Miss America System, aside from the many scholarships, is the life long friendships that you make as you go through this system. It is definitely one of the biggest benefits of the system.

The name of this magazine is Bravura.  “Bravura” is an artistic word for exceptional; in your opinion, what makes you “bravura”?
What makes me bravura is my willingness to always be optimistic about any situation.

What advice do you have for those who want to take part in pageants?
My advise would be to give it your all. Never hold back, and show them your true self.

My words are THANK YOU SO MUCH. Being apart of this year’s class has completely changed my life for the better, and I can not thank you all enough.
