What I’ve learned from the Miss America program: At the end of the day it is not all about the glitz and glam, but the impact of reaching out into the communities and giving more of my time and service.
Growing up in a small town America has created who I am today, loving others, my community, and my country. The discipline of serving others throughout my life has taught me to be reliable, relatable, and respectful. I will endeavor to personify a Miss America young women can embrace by promoting a healthy ‘whole self’ lifestyle. As Miss America 2017 my mission is to 1) graciously and respectfully represent the Miss America Organization. 2) enhance my personal platform Shatter the Silence — Stop the Violence by presenting sexual assault prevention to college age women and 3) promote CMNH around the nation.
