An Interesting Fact About Me: I would love to be a full time missionary. I have been on 10 mission trips to Mexico, Honduras, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Peru.
My Proud Accomplishment: I am most proud of receiving “Big Woman on Campus” at The University of Oklahoma, which was a huge accomplishment for me. It is the top 10 women on campus based on academics, community service, and campus involvement.
I began sending care packages to deployed soldiers more than ten years ago when a friend was called to active duty in Afghanistan. My actions have expanded and progressed into affiliations with several organizations that support our troops, not only through deployment, but the employment process as they return home. Through the USO and Makeovers that Matter, I’m also helping female veterans reclaim their style and confidence. I want to carry on the valuable Miss America tradition of honoring and supporting the men and women in our Armed Forces, from deployment to employment.
