My secret wish or dream: I would love to be a Radio City Rockette! I marveled in awe of the precision of their dancing. After I saw them live, I looked up the height requirement and training needed in order to become a Rockette. Luckily, I am the right height so there is still hope!
My Proud Accomplishment: I am most proud of being on a world championship baton twirling team. We competed a seven-minute twirling routine based around the theme “Alice in Wonderland” to win the title in Switzerland.
People often tell me, “I had no idea you were bullied, you seem so confident in yourself” I was bullied for nearly an entire year by a group of older girls. It began with threatening phone calls, then they would inundate me with hurtful text messages. The attacks culminated in a public incident at a school baseball game. I texted my dad in panic to come pick me up as they yelled hurtful things behind me. Since then, I have worked passionately with over 5,000 students in order to share my message and Make Kindness Viral.
