The Road to MAOTeen 2018 – Medieval Times

Yesterday evening we kicked off the week of MAOTeen 2018 with a visit to Medieval Times - a family-friendly, dinner theater, featuring medieval-style games, sword-fighting, and jousting. It truly was a feast for not only everyone's stomachs, but eyes as well! With different locations in the US, we were welcomed with open-arms by the team in Orlando, Florida!

We caught up with a Teen in Training, pre-event, Lexi Hughes, and she said, “My previous gem, Eva, and I saw MAOTeen Nicole Jia, and ran over to her, as she was getting into her car and I yelled out her name; she turned around and she was so nice and took a picture with both of us. She is so kind, and we are going to miss her as our MAOTeen. But I know who ever is going to have her position is going to be just as OUTSTANDING.”

All of the teen competing for the title of MAOTeen 2018 showed up at Medieval Times ready for an entertaining show. Prior to the start of the show, they did a bit of filming on location. Once guests and attendees were seated inside, the teens were introduced one-by-one, walking in proudly, as their held their state’s flag. Then Lady Nicole, rode out on her precious steed, to present the king with a signed, framed photo of herself and her fellow Teens.

The show was amazing, a sight to be seen! Especially if you have never been to Medieval Times, you must visit one of their eight locations in the US! Everyone really enjoyed themselves during dinner – though it was quite interesting to eat the food without any utensils!
