The wedding season is around the corner and I couldn’t be happier, firstly because it is sort of a bonus month for me as I get a lot of work during this time (being a Makeup Artist), and second because I love attending weddings.🙂
Today, I’m going to start with the first part of my wedding series which is more like a Pre- wedding look. In India, a wedding is a not merely a wedding; it comprises of a lot of rituals, traditions, functions and what not. And in the last few years, with pre-wedding shoots, candid photography and designer outfits, the wedding concept has got a whole new meaning.
As I write this post, all I can think of is my own wedding and how I wish I could relive all those moments. Through this post, not only am I sharing some bridal looks with you but also I’m living the whole experience all over again.😀
The pre-wedding functions demand you to look stunning yet not OTT. These functions are usually Haldi, Mehndi or Roka ceremonies. So I personally would not suggest a trousseau that’s too heavy and something that’s more comfortable.
(Clutch: Chamee & Palak)
This outfit from Chamee & Palak is perfect for a summer wedding as its light-weight, fuss-free and soothing to the eyes in terms of colour. Gone are the days when you would don suits and saris for each and every function. This flowy gown is such a unique twist to our ethnic outfits and still looks so stunning. I love the neck detailing on it and the waist cuts add an elegant charm to the outfit.
This beautiful piece is not restricted to brides only. If you’re the bridesmaid or someone who is looking for an outfit for a family wedding, this is where your search ends.
This designer duo from Mumbai, believes in offering the best to the brides and their collection is very vibrant, unique and not too heavy on the pockets.😀
You can check out their designs on Facebook or on Instagram at ChameeandPalak.
Hope you guys enjoyed reading this one. Stay tuned for Part II and III of the Wedding series.😀
