Kiran’s Korner – Music Must Haves

Being the music enthusiast that I am, my music taste is very eclectic ranging from Lady Gaga hits to Hard Core Bhangra tunes and everything in between. We have just a few weeks left for this summer season and I wanted to share a few hits that will rock any outdoor summer party/barbeque. Below are a few songs that have been on heavy rotation in my car this week.

I want to start off with one of the biggest South Asian and American collaborations of this summer. I’m talking about none other than Shera Di Kaum feat. Akshay Kumar, RDB, and Ludacris. This song is from the upcoming movie Breakaway and honestly although I love Akshay Kumar and RDB, I mainly like the song for Luda’s verse. Check it out at the link below:

Next up, I want to point out another big collaboration that involves New Jersey natives DJ Riz, G-Deep, and Senjay Luckey. These boys have created a fun and flirty track called Bring it Back. The music video for the song features Sunny Leone and her beauty just dazzles through-out the video. This song can definitely get any party started!

After dancing to Bring it Back, we can now wind down a little bit with Lady Gaga’s newest single You and I. Gaga is known to create hits after hits and this new song is no disappointment. The music video is everything a Gaga fan can expect from the Queen of Pop music. Here is You and I:

After Gaga comes my other favorite artist and this Punjabi rapper has literally taken over the Punjabi music industry. His fast paced Punjabi rap verses are loved by everyone. I’m talking about Honey Singh, if you aren’t familiar with this man, go on youtube and check out some of his recent collaborations which include Lakk 28 feat. Diljit and Jaan Mangdi feat. Jassi Sidhu. No Desi party is complete without one of Honey Singh’s signature songs. My current favorite is this song called Haye Mera Dil feat. Alfaaz and Honey Singh.

The last song I’m addicted to this week is How to Love by Lil’ Wayne. Told you that I had a diverse taste in music, didn’t I? This song is different and much classier than Lil’ Wayne’s usual stuff and that’s why I like it so much. With that I’ll leave you to enjoy the last song on my list this week:

Until next time…this is Kiran reporting from Kiran’s Korner. ;-)
